Ｔｈｅ Koshien Stadium - 甲子園球場

The Koshien Stadium is a longed-for baseball stadium for a high school student playing baseball.　　Only championship school in each prefectures can fight in Koshien　Stadium.　　

When I was a high school student , I was a secretary of my high school baseball club.
Members practiced baseball very hard every day , even if it's holiday...like all other high school baseball teams. I cleaned balls , made tea , help practice and sometimes run with them.　
It might be laughed, but we believed that we could play baseball at the Koshien Stadium if we did our best.　We couldn't make it.....but I stil love to watch high-school baseball games.

Members of a high school which lost pick up soil of Koshien after a match as memory of participation to admiration Koshien Stadium and bring it. 　When I see that , I cry because they always cry .　
They cry because of a chagrin that they lost their game though they really made every possible effort.　
A High School Baseball Championship is my holy youth♪

甲子園球場は野球をしている高校生にとっては憧れの球場です。
各都道府県での優勝校だけが甲子園で戦えるんですから当然です。
私は高校生の時、野球部のマネージャーをしていました。他の高校球児たちと同じく、放課後も、休みの日も関係なく、ずーっと練習している部員にまざって、ボールを磨いたり、お茶をつくったり、練習を手伝ったり、時々一緒に走っていました。

笑われるかもしれませんが、頑張れば甲子園に行けると本気で信じちゃっていました♪負けちゃいましたけど。
なので、私は毎年高校野球を観戦するのが楽しみです！
憧れの甲子園球場への出場の記念として、負けた高校のメンバー達が試合後に甲子園の土を拾って持ち帰るのを見ると、私も泣けてきます。みんな土を拾いながら泣いているからです。
全力を尽くしたのに負けた悔しさで泣いているのです。

いつまでたっても、高校野球は私にとって神聖な青春！という感じです。

Salt - 塩

The Japanese believed that salt purify anything from old days.
It means that is to take away a dirty thing and an abnormal thing.
Therefore sumo wrestlers wind up salt to cleanse the sumo ring where they fight from now on.
After a funeral , we are given some salt , and we sprinkle it on our body before entering our house.
It is said that it purify a heart of sorrow of someone's death .
It is said that to sprinkle only salt on fresh vegetables and fish / meat when we eat them is better to enjoy taste of material
It is said fatigue is taken away if I put it in a bath.
When I moved, mother called me every day and said
"Don't forget to heap up some salt in a corner of the entrance!!"

I am amazed that my mother who does not listen to me believe salt......
Salt has various talent・・・

日本人は、昔から塩にはものを清める働きがあると信じてきました。

清めるとは、不浄なもの・異常なものを取り払う【消す】ことをいいます。なので、お相撲さんは、これから戦う土俵を清めるために塩をまくというわけです。
あとは、お葬式の後に塩を渡され、自分の家に入る前にパッパ一と身体にふりかけます。これは、「死」という悲しみの心を元の状態に戻すために清めるとも言われています。
他にも、新鮮な野菜や魚・肉は、素材の味を楽しむために、塩をふりかけるだけで食べるのが通だったり。
お風呂にいれたら疲れがとれるといわれたり。

私が引越しをする時は、母は毎日のように

「最初に玄関に塩を盛るの忘れたらあかんよ！」としつこく電話してきました。

私の言うことに耳も貸さない母が、塩のことはそんなに信じるなんて・・
塩っていろんな才能があるんですね・・・。

The Bon - お盆

The Bon Festival is going to be over today.
The bon festival is the time when we express our gratitude to ancestors and pray to rest in peace for them.　　　
It is said that it is the day when ancestors return on that day.　　　

There are many people who return home with a person living by leaving a hometown.　　　　
I visited to ancestors's grave with my parents and grandmother, too. We cleaned a grave and pulled a weed and offered a flower and sprinkled water.　　　

It's mysterious that I felt that my mind was washed by doing it.　　　

The schedule or decoration methods are a little different by a district, but our feeling is the same.　　　　
We thank to ancestors that we are living.

今日でお盆が終わろうとしています。
お盆というのは、ご先祖さまや亡くなった方々が苦しむことなく、成仏してくれるようにと、私達子孫が報恩の供養をする時なのです。
この日は、ご先祖さまが帰ってくると言われていて、故郷を離れていても帰郷する人が多いです 。　　私も、両親と祖母と一緒にお墓参りに行き、　お墓を掃除し、雑草を抜き、お花を供え、水をかけました。　　
何だかそれだけで心が洗われたような気持ちになったのは不思議です。　　　　　

地方によってその日程、盆棚の飾付け方などは多少異なりますが、その心は同じはずなのです。
今の自分があるのはご先祖さまのお陰ですもんね♪

A tea stem - 茶柱

Japanese says that when a tea stem stands, it's auspicious.　　　
A tea stem is a part of a stem of the tea-leaf which stands in tea when I poured tea into a cup.　　Ｉt stands like a pillar.　　　　
A part of a stem standing in a cup in itself is very rare , that's why it seems to have come to be said to be lucky.　　
One more reason , a pillar is support of a house, and it makes the center.　　
We believe that when there is not a pillar, a house is not strong enough. So it is said that a pillar standing itself is lucky. 　

When I was child, I did not have an idea that I buy tea outside , because tea should be made at home.　　
It became common to buy tea of PET bottle at a shop these days.　　
There is no chance to see a tea stem ,even tea-leaf .

茶柱が立つと縁起が良いという言い伝えがあります。
茶柱というのは、お茶を湯のみにそそいだときにお茶の中に立つ、お茶の葉の茎の部分ですが、柱のように立っていることでこう呼ばれています。
茎の部分が湯のみに入ること自体が非常に珍しいことなのでおめでたいことだ、と言われるようになったそうです。
もう一つは、柱が立つということそのものが縁起がよい、ということです。柱は家の支えであり中心をなすもの、柱がなくては家が成り立たない。そんなことからも茶柱が立つことは縁起がよいとされているようです。

昔は、お茶はで沸かして飲むもので、買うものだなんて思ってませんでしたが、最近では、ペットボトルのお茶を買うのが普通になり、茶柱どころかお茶の葉さえ見なくなってしまいました。

Radio exercises - ラジオ体操

It is just a summer vacation period of students now.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　I can see many schoolchildren at an airplane I take for business trip.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　I remember that there are many things we had to do in summer vacation when I was a child , some collection of problems , a picture diary , write impressions of a book , research something , handicraft and RADIO EXERCISES !　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Words of a summer vacation remind of radio exercises. We exercised to music. The music was from a radio program. So it's called "Radio exercise".　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　We hung attendance list from a neck and went to a park nearby early in the morning every morning. And we had the attendance list push a seal when I attended at exercises. 　We could get very small present as an award for perfect attendance when we attended every day.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　That's why we felt that attending every day is the pleasant duty , even if our parents didn't push us.　

We were an obedient children who knew nothing ♪♪　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Now I need a big reward when I exercise at a park every day.............

今はちょうど学生たちの夏休み期間です。 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　出張へ行く飛行機の中も小学生でいっぱいです。私が小学生の時は、夏休みにはやらなきゃいけないことが沢山ありました。問題集、絵日記、読書感想文、自由研究、工作、それに　ラジオ体操！　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　やっぱり夏休みといえば「ラジオ体操」　ラジオから流れる音楽に合わせて体操するのでそう呼ばれているだけですけど。毎朝早朝にラジオ体操の出席表を紐を付けて首からぶら下げて近くの公園へ行って、出席をすると印鑑を押して貰ってました。　皆勤賞だとものすごくささやかなプレゼントを貰えることもあり、全部出席するのが義務のように感じていた気がします。　

素直で世間知らずな子供でしたね。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　今の私なら、かなりのご褒美を頂かないと公園でラジオ体操はできそうにありません・・・・・。
