Food additive 食品添加物


I read a book of "the backside of food" I didn't know about food additives very much , but one thing I knew about food additives is that it's not to be good for a body .
The book was written by the guy who used to be a top of salesmen at a food additives company.

The impression that I read is that someone can make anything what someone tries to make ! My favorite strawberry taste ,kamaboko and healthy salad seem to be used by artificial coloring that was made of insects ground or soak them in bleach . The fact disappointed me more than I have thought. I know some food I sometimes buy are not good ,but I was very surprised that some food that says mother's taste or grandmother's tast are not good. They look good for a body! The old manufacturing method is suffers from both time and money .so some craftsmen give it up and uses food additives. Also most of consumers love convenient and cheep.Now it's too difficult to find additive free food.

I was one of that kind of consumer, but after I read the book ,I check staple! I care about my body so much these days.....the reason is I'm getting old?

”食品の裏側”という本を読みました。食品添加物についてよく知らないけれど、何となく身体に良くないものという事だけが私の知っていることでした。食品添加物の会社で働いていた元トップセールスマンが書いているこの本。

読んだ感想は、”今の時代、作ろうと思えば何でも作れるんだなぁ”ってことです。私の大好きなイチゴ味もカマボコも健康そうなサラダも。虫をすりつぶして作られた着色料や漂白剤に浸されてるなんて、やっぱりショックです。味の素やだしの素なんかは便利なので、身体に良くないと知った上で使っちゃいますが、「おふくろの味」「おばあちゃんの味」なんて書いて売ってあると、いかにも無添加に見えて買ってしまうのに。なおさらびっくりです。手間ひまかけて昔ながらの製法で作るというのは、時間も労力もかかるしコストもかかってしまうから、職人さんたちも諦めて食品添加物に手をだしてしまうなんて、消費者のせいでもあるんだなってわかりました。まぁ、だからって、食品添加物を使っていない食品を探すほうが大変です。

でも、この本を読むまでは便利大好きだった私も、買い物するときに"原材料”を見るようになりました。

身体を気遣うなんて歳のせいでしょうか

I am more cautious about what i eat as well. Before, i never cared about the ingredients, but now, i pay attention to sugar content & additives. We must protect our bodies as we get older - they are not as strong as they used to be! :)
